Board of Directors

President

Jackson Ibarra is a senior at Mid-Pacific Institute. He is the founder and president of his school’s Economics and Finance Club, captain of the varsity golf team, a National Honor Society officer, and a Student Government Association officer. Outside of school, Jackson’s interest in economics and economic policy sparked him to intern with Hawaii State Senator Michelle N. Kidani, as well as with the Oahu Economic Development Board. Prompted by the vibrant interest in business amongst his peers, he founded the Honolulu chapter of the Junior Economic Club in 2022. In his free time, Jackson enjoys playing golf and making music with his friends.

Vice President

Hailey Oh is a junior at Punahou School. She is the founder and president of the Business 4 Youth club, an active member of the speech team, and a competitor on the varsity air riflery team. She also enjoys working with elementary students through Punahou’s Art of Entrepreneurship course. Outside of school, Hailey volunteers at the Hawaii Children’s Discovery Center and runs her own small business, which she markets through social media. With a passion for entrepreneurship, Hailey plans on pursuing a career in business. In her free time, she enjoys reading, drawing, and hanging out with friends.

Chief Financial Officer

Christian Chang is a junior at Punahou School. He is the founder of his school’s Crypto Club, a co-leader of the Stocks & Options Club, a Staff Sergeant in JROTC, and a varsity golf team member. Outside of school, Christian is the social media coordinator for the Hwarang Ohana Youth Organization, and a cellist in the Mele Lani Cello Quartet. Christian likes reading self-improvement books, playing golf, and watching football with friends in his free time.

Chief Marketing Officer

Brooke Shindo is a junior at Punahou School. She is a captain of the varsity air riflery team and a member of the Business 4 Youth Club. Outside of school, Brooke is the Vice President of Perfect Game Hawaii. Her interest in business began at a young age through her family, and has continued to grow through observation of the Calvin Shindo Student Venture Fund at UH Mānoa. She hopes to continue pursuing her passions for business and financing in the future. In her free time, Brooke enjoys traveling, doing photography, and spending time with friends.

Community Outreach Chair

Nate Choi is a senior at Moanalua High School. He is an active member of his school’s DECA chapter and enjoys competing in the annual DECA CTSO state competition. Nate also serves as the manager of DECA’s Menemart snack shop, where he spends time interacting with customer, managing inventory, and providing financial reports. His passion for marketing has inspired him to work towards a career in business. Nate is also a violinist in his school’s symphony orchestra and a member of the varsity golf team. When school is out, you can find Nate at the golf course, pursuing his goal of playing collegiate golf.
